Self catering and our host Rebecca left a really generous welcome box, not just bread, milk and tea and coffee etc. but cereal, biscuits, marmalade and butter. Well fitted, immaculate kitchen with everything you would need. Comfy sofa. Decor and fittings top quality, beautifully presented and so many additional little extras and caring touches to make your stay a good one. Not just toiletries but face cleanser, dressing gown slippers etc Location brilliant, 5 minute walk to town centre. Cottage looked beautiful and fittings exceptionally well thought out. Although it is a traditional cottage and compact, little things like a mat for your shoes at the entrance, matches for the wood burner, wide selection of information leaflets etc, went that extra mile. Well thought out - you could easily find the hairdryer and sit down to do your hair in front of a mirror. Outside was as well presented as the inside. Our hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable,

The building is a wonderful converted barn with huge rooms, comfy beds and excellent bathrooms. This is set in farmland, handy for Southwell but sufficiently far away to enjoy the peace of the countryside. The farmland has partially been set aside for the local flora and fauna.
