We stayed here as an overnight stay before going to the theme park, the cottage was cosy and exactly what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow. The alpacas outside were great too ! Great value for money and would recommend as a good place to relax and unwind, very peaceful.

Absolutely beautiful property, very clean, and spacious for family of 5. An incredible host who went out of her way to decorate and accommodate for a birthday and anniversary celebration which made the stay extremely special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Peak District.

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The property is beautifully presented, like a high-end renovation has taken place and you’re the first people inside. All rooms are well equipped, spotlessly clean with great furniture choices. It is like being in a home and not a rental. We were a group of 4 men and there was plenty of space for us all. The cottage is in a small, peaceful village. We visited the pub 100 yards away and were made very welcome. There is also a Fish and Chip shop and Indian restaurant in the village and close to the cottage.
This property was perfect for our weekend trip to Alton Towers, with the location being just a 10 minute drive to the park on a quiet road in a little village. The house was very clean, it had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and sofas, and it was nice to wake up and look across the fields to see wildlife and farmyard animals. The village had a Spar for picking up essentials, a local pub with friendly staff that served excellent food, and a small selection of takeaway restaurants.
A neat, Victorian terraced cottage with a very modern interior. Small, but with everything we (two parents, a child and a baby) needed for a few days. Situated a few minutes from the JCB headquarters beautiful landscaped grounds and lake and the centre of Rocester - a very small but pretty village a few miles from Alton Towers.
Great location for visiting Alton Towers, took less than 15 minutes to drive there! Located in a nice village with a good value cafe & fish & chip shop & local shop only a 1 minute walk away.

The location was excellent and easy to find. It had a shop, pub and eateries opposite that were very useful. A quiet little village so a good nights sleep. Clean and tidy was much better than staying in a hotel if you have small children who can’t share a room. Plenty of beds. I would highly recommend.
