The place is a great little village pub, traditionally run, excellent beers and a great local welcome. If you want to know what it is like to live in a small village then stay here.

It is just luxury.....beautiful rooms, helpful well informed staff, wonderful bar and restaurant and breakfast is excellent. Just cannot fault it.
The room was absolutely stunning, but the down sides were the tea tray, for the price of the room you’d expect a better choice and then the buffet breakfast, there was lots of choice but the hot breakfast choices were lukewarm and didn’t really reach my expectations for a luxury hotel
Hotel was selected as overnight stop after our trip to France, so it was very handy for the A1 on-off ramps. And so relaxing. Staff were very friendly, dinner was very very good and breakfast had a great selection. Definitely recommend if you feel like a bit of luxury.
