This is a real hidden gem. The cottage was spotless, very cosy and had everything we required. The bed was so comfy we had the best sleep. We hired the hot tub which was a real treat sitting under the trees and looking at the stars. We had a walk down to the river and the scenery is beautiful. It was lovely to watch the birds in the garden.We ventured out to the Running Fox for delicious food and walked round the gardens at Kirkhekle courtyard. The owners were excellent communicators and were very helpful and kind throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place.

The staff here looked after us so beautifully! They were kind and welcoming. They helped us with a problem we had trying to figure out the shower system (Aussie travellers, different plumbing/tap systems in the UK). I 100% recommend staying here. Luxurious and so amazingly priced for the services, the accomodation and the grounds! We will be back and staying longer next time!
Lovely village location. Very peaceful. Helpful staff who were very accommodating when we had a late night visit to the Kielder observatory and didn't get back until 3am. Great, very large breakfast.
Loved the open space, great to cook and chat and play games at the large table. Garden is great even though it's not attached, was fully expecting this as it was advertised. There was a well stocked shop in the village and a pub which we weren't expecting. Comfy beds and clean
