Everything just great - very welcoming & informative hosts. The Lodge is perfect, peaceful location but not too remote from amenities. Very homely but still with the feel of being away on holiday.

we just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the back window is something else, we enjoyed watching the lambs play each evening, the farmer moved some newly born calves into the field for us aswell. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Plenty to do in the area.

I would give this cottage higher than 10 if I could . Not only has the owner thought of everything you might possibly need during your stay. The cottage is stunning inside and out . Lovely and warm and the real log burner just adds to the cosiness .. The views .. at all times , sunrise, sunsets and starry nights are breathtaking , such a great location for anyone wanting a real countryside retreat with the convenience of towns within a short drive to access all facilities to stock up and enjoy the pubs, cafes and galleries. I cannot recommend it highly enough . The owner is exceptionally thoughtful and helpful if needed and the homemade cake she put on arrival was the best I've tasted in years . Thank you .

Amazing little cottage, little basket in kitchen with wine and treats . Loved sitting by the fire toasting marshmallow. Mattress on double bed was fab best sleep ever . Close to shops ,pubs, and lovely walks with our dog
