Disgusting! Never again. I booked here for my family and they had booked another family in who wanted to stay longer. They did not apologise and then would not refund my money. Completely ruined my daughters birthday who had traveled 5 hours to get to the property.

Exmoor Hideaway, hotel in North Molton

Featuring garden views, Exmoor Hideaway provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 36 km from Dunster Castle.

Great location, a short drive a few minutes from the local, superb pub (Black Venus Inn), a bit too hilly to walk after recovering from major surgery! Dogs allowed, the hosts and children came out and made a fuss of our 1yr old malinois puppy and she loved staying on the farm as well. There's lots of good walks around the area (best follow all-trails app) and really superb facilities, which all looked very new and fresh? The welcome pack has some really good quality stuff, including coffee pods and cookies, etc.

As it says on the tin it’s a cosy nook. The property is spotless and well looked after. The little welcome hamper is a great idea and much appreciated. The beds were really comfortable and with a lovely little garden out the back it felt like a proper home from home. Mop is a great host and if you’re new to the area she will have some great tips on where to go and what to do. The village shop is closed but the excellent pub about 200 yards from the front door The Poltimore Inn has all the little necessities should you run short.

Before going, I had asked about wheelchair accessibility, and the accommodation itself fulfilled our needs, with level entry and a walk-in shower. On arrival, I was shown the room, which matched up to what I'd been told. The room worked for us, the manager was welcoming, the wifi worked well and the breakfast was enormous. Access to the pub and dining room was all level, and easy for wheelchairs. The village was quiet with lovely views.
