Gorgeous views from the lovely little cottage space. It had everything you need for a short stay and is beautifully presented. It was great to be welcomed by our host who even provides bread, milk etc. I will use this again when visiting my daughter.

This is by far the best self catering property we have stayed in whilst visiting Wales. It ticks all the boxes for us. Quiet, spacious, dog friendly, lawns, secure parking near the door, all on one level, very clean and comfortable. David was a brilliant host with quick communication and he puts himself in the shoes of the guests when he equips the house. Wi-Fi was good. Risca has over 20 places to eat/collect. Our favourite was the Cefn Mably Inn in Michaelston y Fedw, about 20 mins drive away. Dog friendly and no children under 10. Views across the valley are pretty especially at sunset. Visit Cwmcarn Scenic Drive just north of Risca. Thank you David, we will be back, 100% sure.

The house was well maintained and very convenient to Cardiff university, shops like IKEA (4 minutes away), Costco, Aldi, Lids, etc.The owner was very helpful and provided free toiletries,coffee, tea, water, milk, hot chocolate, and biscuits.

Wonderful happy and friendly staff everywhere. Food and room wonderful and it all had such a luxurious and relaxed feel about it. We will be coming back again this year!
Beautiful Hotel located in a quaint historic village.
Upon arrival, we were treated very well by the staff and offered complimentary Cava.
The room was just beautiful with rustic period features and furniture yet modern quality fixtures and fittings.
The restaurant and outdoor garden had a good atmosphere.
Breakfast was cooked to order which meant the service was slightly slow but everything was very good quality and satisfying.
We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean, comfortable and the hotel bar / restaurant and gardens were lovely too.
This hotel is new so it should be great anyway but we found it absolutely wonderful. The facilities are first class - triple glazed windows so very quiet, beds are luxurious with scrumptious mattress toppers and divine pillows, luxury bathrooms, power showers, plenty of work surfaces to place your toiletries on. Hotel lobby smelled amazing with luxury air freshener in the air conditioning. Staff are very keen to help. It was a wonderful stay and we are rebooking already for another trip to the area in 4 months time.
Location was excellent, loved sitting outside watching the river. well maintained, lovely shower room. Village beautiful full of Roman interest/history. lots of close by facilities.
