We stayed here as a group of friends, and we enjoyed every minute of being here. The property has everything you need, and the gardens and pond area are stunning. We really appreciated the late checkout since they didn't have anyone else checking in that day. I would recommend this place for any groups looking for a relaxing and tranquil stay.

Very light and spacious property. Had everything we needed.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Characterful old hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely evening meal and breakfast using local produce. Clean room with small en-suite but fine for our one night stay. We would definitely return if we are in the area. We also enjoyed a walk around the village of Mundford.
A lovely old property in a picturesque village, with two very friendly staffed bars. The food was delicious on both days of our visit.
The sleeping accommodation was very comfortable and clean.
It was our second visit to the hotel to meet up with family who live in the area, so will definitely be back again.
Absolutely beautiful hotel/pub/restaurant, staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The Food was outstanding and the complimentary Breakfast was perfect. The area was stunning with lots of beautiful walks close by. Everyone we passed on our walks a d in the village said hello or food morning.. very friendly area. Will 100 % return
Great location in a small English village near the forest for dog walking, lovely helpful staff, great pub ,and wonderful food ,and most importantly good beer..
Very good breakfast (included), traditionally served at the table. Good pub food available in the evening. Nicely situated on the village green and convenient for exploring Lynford Arboretum and the Desert Rats Museum.
The Crown is a lovely old hotel set in a quaint little village overlooking the village Green.
We checked in only assuming to have a family room, but was very surprised to be lead to a small very nice cottage for our stay.
This more than met our needs for the stay, as we had our dog and part of the family were at a concert until very late in the evening, so didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone.
