Duck Terrace with Gym Duckling Stays, hotel in Market Harborough

Offering a garden and garden view, Duck Terrace with Gym Duckling Stays is situated in Kibworth Harcourt, 15 km from Leicester Railway Station and 15 km from De Montfort University.

Lovely house with a beautiful little garden. Very well equipped (OK Google, play some relaxing music 😊). Quiet and comfortable. The TV room and gym in the basement are great. The rooms are big enough, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has all you need to cook. The living room is warm and cozy. Parking is easy. The supermarket is a 5-minute walk away, there are restaurants nearby, the village is nice and peaceful, and it’s a quick drive to Oadby or Leicester.

House was in a good location with amenities nearby. Easy to access, lovely decoration and loved the quirkiness! Great communication from host with clear instruction, bedrooms were well set up and great space downstairs to spend time together or watch a film. Would definitely return and stay for more than 1 night next time.

Room was a reasonable size but a little tired in places. However for price paid cannot complain. No air con or fan available in room and it would have been quite smelly if windows left open due to nearby farm. Bed was reasonably comfy and plenty of storage space if staying longer than one night. Pub is in a small quiet village off the beaten track so very quiet.

#property gave absolute quietness in a very rural location with a well equipped kitchen and facilities. If you want to chill out in a perfectly peaceful place with excellent country views . . . this property is for you. The nearest pub in the village had re-opened a few days prior to our visit and served excellent food. Although well and truly in the country the nearest big town (Market Harborough) was only 10 minutes drive away.

Located in a pretty little village, the Bullshead is attached to a pub serving excellent quality food. Mo and his team were friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and spacious.

We had a wonderful week at the Smallthorns Barn, which is located within walking distance of the beautiful village of Clipston. Rachel gave us a warm welcome, and the converted barn is spacious, well equipped, elegant and has beautiful views over the fields. We look forward to staying again.

It was a lovely hotel, with great facilities. It was like it was it’s own little village. Room was lovely. Dropped something in bathroom which rolled under sink, where there was some hair (not mine) which is why I only gave satisfactory for cleanliness. However, it is a really lovely place to stay.

Very warm welcome. The pub is a typical old English country pub and the center of village life. It was packed full when we arrived. Old pub games e.g skittles were available. The room was spacious, warm and simply furnished but perfect for our stay. We shall make it our go to stop over when in the area.

Well appointed country retreat in a quaint English village, with a lovely pub within a 10-15 minute walk. Beautifully quiet and relaxing, with fabulous hosts. Short drive to Market Harborough and a little further to Leicester if you need a city fix.
