What an amazing place Edge Barn is; easy to find, beautifully situated, clean, quiet and comfortable. Beyond the field, where two horses roam, is a view of the Severn bridges, and a tremendous sunset. The cottage is clean and has all you need, from crockery to a washing machine. One of our favourite ever stays.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet location with easy access to woodland. Lovely artwork in every room, much of which was by a family member. Bridget was most welcoming and helpful, and quickly supplied us with extra glasses and other items when friends staying locally visited us. Very convenient for many places of interest.

The cabin is gorgeous, comfy and cosy. There was towels, a heated drying rack, cold milk and water in the fridge as well as tea, coffee pods add machine and crossiants butter and jam. The views are stunning and the hot tub which is very private, and the projector completely made our trip. Loved it! Super friendly hosts aswell who were on hand when we needed them but left us to our privacy too.

It was never going to be a luxury night but actually was perfect for a stop over.

Liked the ground floor with own access. Next to a police station so our cars were safe. Quiet
Luxury double room. Very comfortable. Large room with ensuite, wardrobe, table and chairs, tv. All very clean. Decent sized bathroom with a good shower, loads of hot water and good pressure. Tea/coffee facilities, towels and toiletries included. Very warm room, but a fan was provided if needed. Small town a 5 minute walk, shops and plenty of takeaways, the lovely guy at reception even gave us plates and cutlery to use! Good location and plenty of parking.
Great location in the centre of a peaceful village. Excellent evening cuisine. Friendly staff who took trouble to make us feel at home and deal with our requests.
Country Lodge Retreat was ideally situated for our needs. There is plenty of room for a child to play safely. Lucy provided lots of little touches to make our stay special over Christmas.
The property was in the centre of the village. It was spotlessly clean and well ventilated on arrival and the milk and Welsh cakes were very welcome The kitchen was very well equipped, including ground coffee for the cafetiere. The whole place was very comfortable and the views over the garden and the surrounding countryside were lovely. It was a super location for visiting both the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean.
