Deceivingly roomy cottage with lovely characteristics, quiet position, lovely surroundings and beautifully appointed. Fabulous garden for us & the dogs. Only stayed one night, wish it could’ve been longer, maybe next time as we’d definitely stay again.

The house was a lovely place to stay, close to amenities. Ann, the host was exceptional as she made you feel so welcome with a personal touch. Lovely village location. Plenty of parking. I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked in. Really friendly staff and the pub is obviously well cared for and managed. Food was really good. Room was compact, small en-suite shower, but spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything needed. Perfect for an overnight stay to break the long journey on the A1.

Everything about the visit was perfect. The hotel is set in a quiet little village. The staff were very friendly and helpful , the room was great and the food was amazing both at evening meal and breakfast.
