The cottage sits on a working farm. Very peaceful and quiet. The guest book hand written by the children added a family feel to the stay with useful information.

We stayed here on our Taylor Swift weekend. A local hotel at the heart of the village community. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The family room had a double bed and two proper twin beds instead of some pull outs you would get elsewhere , with a decent size modern ensuite. So we all had a great night's sleep before and after the concert. I will definitely return to spend time walking in the area.
The room was extra large and beautiful with king size bed plus a seating area, full of character. The bathroom was as big as the main room with luxury bath and shower. All spotless clean.
We love this hotel!. We arrived later and staff was very friendly and we eat delicious dinner in restaurant. Hotel was quiet village and perfect to us stay with us dog. Parking was easy. Us room was very beautiful and bed was comfy. Very good Scottish breakfast !Sure we go to stay this hotel again !
We had absolutely amazing stay at Jen's cottage. The cottage was cosy but big enough with everything you could possibly need. Very good WI-FI which made our kids happy 😉 And we cannot thank Jen enough for her hospitality. Leadhills is a beautiful village with lots of history!!! Highly recommended!
The friendly staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend as a place to stop for a break in a journey if travelling further north or south as we were. But the village and the surrounding hills would definitely be worth a longer stay to explore. Maybe next time...
Lovely cosy cottage has everything you could need for your stay cottage is in a lovely small and friendly village with well stocked shop and great hotel serving lovely meals ,both within walking distance from cottage .
The cottage was clean and well equipped. Leadhills is a lovely village with a small shop and hotel that has a great menu, the food is delicious. There is a lovel community where the local residents are friendly and welcoming, The cottage has a small area at the front where you can sit and a small patio table and chairs at the front where you can sit and have a chat with the neighbours.
