Best location for a quiet and remote stay with the most amazing views. The track to house however was bad and full of deep potholes.

Brilliant place to stay! This was our second time staying, first in 'Wee Shot' and this time in 'Half Pint'. Both are clean cozy and comfortable with everything you need. We especially liked the log burners! Lovely, friendly hosts and a great location to explore Tain and further afield in the Highlands. Just next door to the Tain Adventure Cafe which has the best Mac and Cheese! Thank you and good luck with the bus! 😊

Great decking area perfect for the dog, welcome package
was perfect touch including dog biscuits, hot tub was great, the whole pod was super clean and comfortable, great location for local walks.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Fantastic view of the Firth from the room, Hotel within easy walking distance of the Village, Good evening meal options Decent Breakfast offer, portions on the Large size so ask for smaller if not big eater. Excellent value for money.
The room was spacious (suite). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, surrounded by a small park.
The luxurious castle-like ambiance is very attractive.
The location is perfectly suited for exploring the North, Caingorms and even the West.
Very quiet location lodges set in the woods.club house quite good food(limited)local entertainment decent shower
Would suit nature lovers not those looking for a luxury break!
Rustic and beautiful, this hotel is a must for anyone traveling the North 500, or just visiting Scotland! It had the feel of a luxury hunting lodge with all the amenities. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. The ground and the building are right out of a fairy tale. Absolutely brilliant.
This is well located for a quiet retreat and for ‘getting away from it all’. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The animals on the ranch were lovely and the setting with the loch walk was very pleasant.
The best service I've ever had at a hotel. Everyone was treated as first class guests, cannot fault it.
Dinner was delicious, great setting in the dining room. The hotel also offers Sea Change wines, a great initiative towards sustainable, charitable wines which was great to see!
Room was HUGE and so comfortable, very luxurious and traditional. Cannot fault it.
