After arriving at a different booked place to find it closed. Managed to get this place and it was a lovely cottage. Everything was there for our needs and great location.

The location is without parallel, literally within seconds of stepping out we were walking through woods and long the canal. It was an idyllic location with an amazing view and from the property and from the walk.

We stayed here as an overnight stay before going to the theme park, the cottage was cosy and exactly what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow. The alpacas outside were great too ! Great value for money and would recommend as a good place to relax and unwind, very peaceful.

Great welcome. Lovely big light bedrooms, lots of hangers in the cupboards, with super beds, linen etc.. Very hot water, and loads of it, super showers and bath. Great downstairs, plenty of space with lots of comfortable seating. Lovely atmosphere. Quiet village, but so close to Ashbourne, Matlock and Carsington village and reservoir. Even on a bus route! Fab village pub.
