Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
It was very comfortable and had everything we required. Our host was very welcoming in what she left out/said what we could use. Grindleford is a sprawling village on in valley and we had pretty good views.
Everything, staff, room and food were amazing, couldn’t fault a thing, thank you !amazing location also 5 mins walk to train station, visited Manchester, Sheffield and some amazing villages near by, Hope, Hathersage what a great place👍
“It’s folks that matter”. If you’re looking for 5* bland luxury, this won’t be for you. If you want a genuine authentic place whose staff - people, “folks” - who are warm and friendly at every turn and who will go out of their way, without fuss, to help make your stay pleasurable, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was delicious and is served until 11am, which was great. Train station is five minutes walk, easy access in to the nearby villages. Would definitely stay again.
Came here just for the one night to celebrate my partner's birthday. We stayed in the junior suite which was a lovely bit of luxury, but also really reasonably priced! Every single member of staff we met were welcoming and friendly. The place was spotless. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious as was the breakfast the next day!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very nice and there is plenty of on site free parking.
The location is excellent for accessing nearby market towns and villages. If you like walking there are a number of circular routes that start at Grindleford Station which is close by.
The breakfasts which were included in the price were excellent and best of all the hotel is dog friendly.
