Great rural location, close to Glossop and other neighbouring Peak villages. Good facilities and very spacious for a couple (could be overcrowded with anymore). Sweets were a nice touch and the property overall was nice and tidy.

Amazing location in heart of beautiful historic village. Comfortable, private, spacious room. Nice staff. Staying in the pub, you feel welcomed into village life. Wonderful walking on the doorstep.
The cottage was exceptional nice and kitted out to a very high standard. We loved our stay there, there was a very well equipped kitched, comfortable sitting room, bed was very comfy and bathroom had a wonderful shower. We went for lovely walks in the area and visited some of the local villages. Would certainly like to come back.
Old world country pub in a beautiful small village Old Glossop. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Room beautifully clean. Food on hand . Had Breakfast and evening meals in the pub. Very beautiful park just up the road for walks and short walk in to Glossop town centre were you can find lovely cafés. 40 minute drive to RHS Bridgewater garden. We will definitely stay again.
A serene and highly recommended retreat for families, with the added perk of a hot tub. The journey to the lodge boasts breathtaking views, adding to the overall relaxation. The lodge itself is cozy, well-equipped, immaculately clean, and stocked with plenty of towels and amenities suitable for a family of four.
Completely secluded, away from urban areas. This is a peaceful retreat, large accommodation for a family of four. The living space and bedrooms were very comfortable, and the hot tub was an added treat. Plenty of parking space.
The queen's arms were very welcoming and cosy, the room was spotless and clean and a very good size, it had good facilities especially the shower which was really hot and powerful, all the staff and locals were very friendly. The village itself is very picturesque with good local amenities only a short walk away.
Good choice of breakfast as you had options for a fry up veg or meat ,fruit and yoghurt plus cereal with a gluten free option all with fresh juice coffee and tea.
Great little pub in the middle of the village exceptional staff especially Izzy & Amy who looked after us all especially Enzo our little dog, and lovely manageress. very dog friendly. breakfast is served at the pub down the lane but literally a minute away and a great breakfast made by Saffy very tasty.
Breakfast was really lovely and the hosts were great in making sure we had what we wanted. The village is pretty and a good place to head off to the surrounding sites.
