We chose Galsbury as it was central to travel around mid Wales. We stayed at the 3 bedroom Owl's Roost, very beautiful large house in an excellent location surrounded by lush green gardens. Very neat and clean place with a well equipped kitchen. The bread, cookies and milk on arrival was very welcome. The bedroom on the top with the four poster bed and the round windows, was a delight, the beds were very comfy. Unfortunately couldnt use the BBQ. Having the owners staying on site is always a bonus as there is a personal touch to everything . Julia was very nice, she was waiting for us and handed over the keys. She even mailed my husband's baseball cap (an anniversary gift) which he forgot. Had we known we would have definately spent another few days enjoying the house, garden and the walks around the property.

A joy and a delight. Arrived in a home filled with light and warmth and beauty. Just made me so happy to be here. And the hosts were helpful in every detail and very understanding. The house is beautifully furnished, deliciously comfortable and very well equipped. It was Christmas for our first stay and there were wreaths and a Christmas tree. Total peace and quiet.
