The property had everything we needed for our stay. There were bowls, towels and treats for our dogs. A welcome pack and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch . A very spacious cottage and a lovely garden to sit in . The position of the cottage is good for exploring both east and west counties . We managed The Lake District, Northumberland and Durham in our 4 day visit .

Lovely characterful bed and breakfast in an isolated village deep in the North Pennines. Much quieter than the Lake District over the hill but just as picturesque. The room was warm and comfortable and there was a good breakfast provided.

Eastview B and B is truly a home-from-home! Situated in a small village/hamlet surrounded by moors with a bubbly river running through there are lots of places to walk and explore. Our room was warm and comfortable and the hosts provided an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice - cooked and continental. They offered e.g. picnics/precooked evening meals on request which is useful to know when staying 3-4 miles from a town.

Lana the host is a friendly, welcoming and helpful. She has really good local knowledge. Breakfast was really excellent. I was visiting for work so did not have enough time to appreciate the area but the village is scenic and in a lovely location.

East View is a lovely little cottage in a lovely quiet village. Lana and Phil are fantastic hosts who really have thought of everything. They made us a scrumptious evening meal and the breakfast was really good too. Garage for our bikes and heated clothes rack for our wet gear. Very homely and relaxing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend; perfect for C2C stop or Pennine Way walkers. Thanks so much Lana and Phil

Fantastic drive to this lovely B & B! There's not much in this village (that's why we booked) so if you want shops, pubs etc. on your doorstep then it may not be for you however there is another village a few miles away with a pub, spar shop , cash machine (we didn't visit so could be more there) but the host offer home cooked meals for you to reheat at your convenience which we did and enjoyed. The cooked breakfast was great too! The hosts were very welcoming and attentive.

This B&B is located in the lovely village of Garrigill. We arrived mid afternoon having walked there on the Pennine Way over Cross Fell. Our host left a welcome note and we had access to our room straight away. We ate a delicious dinner provided at the B&B and were invited to relax in their spacious lounge. There was a wide choice of cooked food for breakfast as well as fresh fruit salad and cereals etc. Very friendly and thoughtful host. There was everything we could need including fresh milk in a fridge in the room.

Lana was a wonderful host. Her dinner and breakfast were delicious and really gave me what I needed after/before a day of walking — and I really appreciated that she accommodated my vegan diet. Very kind and thoughtful in every way. And the house is a charming former miner’s cottage in a charming village.
