Honestly everything. You can tell this host is thoughtful and kind. We actually broke down on the way, we walked in and the host had left all our creature comforts. Coffee, tea, biccies, bottled water, even a lil choccy treat. Some milk for us, there was Netflix in the rooms. The kiddy room has a nightlight and a reading book and a blanket! I honestly can't even express how well thought out the accomodation was. Everything was comfy. Everything was clean. There was even a book with recommended garages for repairs which was useful! Recommended visits, and takeaway leaflets etc etc. I was shocked by how much thought the host put into this. My family and I travel almost every other weekend to places along the UK because our friends and family are so scattered and not once have I ever come across a host owned accommodation that has ever been this considerate and such a home from home. There were board games and digital games and DVDs and honestly the list could go on, the dishwasher, the cleaning up products easily on hand, the makeup table! Everything was just so perfect and made us feel so at ease. We didn't want to leave to be honest 🤣 it definitely made us want to stay in Durham forever, so much so that we've already booked our longer next stay and did so before we had even left. Parking was easy and at the front of the property! So very handy for getting things out the boot! Check in was also easily done with a lockbox and code sent on the day! Host was fantastic at.communicating with us and I can only say a massive thank you to the host for such a memorable stay!

We all absolutely loved everything the property has to offer! The host really thought about everything, every detail was perfect. The shower was just amazing and the beds were very comfortable. We was staying for my younger brothers passing out parade in catterick and he loved the location so much he decided to propose to his partner in the beautiful surrounding areas! We all celebrated with a local take away from the fish and chips down the road and a bottle of wine from the shop next to it. We was all so blown away with how close everything was! My mother loved the place so much she has booked to stay again in November!

Lovely cosy house, had essentials for breakfast, hot drinks, towels so you didn't have to worry about the little things. The house is a lot bigger than you would think from the outside enough room for a big group.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

The house suited me down to the ground in a village I love visiting. It was in a great location with an enclosed rear garden. Everything was clean and tidy and I was very happy with the house,
Good sized clean cottage. Great location in the middle of the village but quiet at night. Dog friendly with access to a nice walk literally opposite. Would stay again
Such a lovely cosy cottage that was so welcoming and with lots of special touches such as a luxury welcome pack and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for our festive break. We had a really lovely family time and the location is fantastic, just 15 mins to hamsterley forest and 30 mins to Durham city centre. The stars on a clear night are really special too.
We really loved our stay in this charming village! The region is beautiful and perfect for long walks and hiking. The cottage was so lovely with a cute outside terrace for coffee and breakfast. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and did everything to make us feel welcome. We would love to come back one day!
Well equipped welcoming property with all the facilities we needed and it was lovely to see greenfinches nesting in the back garden . Nice walks in the village and adjoining villages
