Lovely secluded location away from the coach trips, very easy access to the great glen way, but also a quick walk into fort augustus. The croft itself was very nicely finished, with really cosy feel. The washer and dryer would be fantastic if the weather was bad, and there was even a dishwasher!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for two adults and was well equipped for a week long stay. The cost was very competitive for Fort Augustus but the best thing about the property was the location, which was excellent. Right on top of the canal lock gates and a couple of minutes from the shops and restaurants etc.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

The host is very nice and taking care about the details. The house is lovely and the breakfast is good. It was a really nice place to be in the village of Fort Augustus next to the Loch Ness for our trip to the Highlands.
The place was lovely, a quiet village with nice walks. Great location, room was great, had a lovely shower.
Breakfast was nice and the host was very helpful.
Had a fabulous two nights stay here, this place was absolutely perfect for us,top quality cabin with everything you need, nice and peaceful but still only around a 15 minute walk into Fort Augustus village for food and drinks etc, host was very friendly but also left you alone as well, thanks for the treats😋👍. Next time I plan on being in the area this place will be the first place I look for availability.
The location was perfect, easy walk down to the Loch and the rest of the amenities in the village. There was such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere around the place. So very easy going. Folks wandering around in their socks in the evening and at breakfast just gave it a lovely, homely feel.
The room was very spacious - for a family of 4 with all our luggage, we had plenty of space.
It was lovely at Rowan Bank Retreat. Not only the great location. You can see that the host put a lot of effort into it. Everything is carefully chosen. The paintings on the wall, the materials and the accessories.
Everything is modern (rain shower), new and above all: very clean! The sheets in the bed are very soft (nice!), the towels too!
I’ve never been to a place like this during our holidays, that can live up to my high standards in cleanliness. So I take my hat off for Eilidh.
Sofia went above and beyond!
The B&B is stunning and very well presented. The room was really luxurious and spaces and not a spec of dirt in sight.
Sofia made some extra special gestures for our anniversary and it was so appreciated and even offered to drop us and collect from the village for some food. She could not do enough for us!
The B&B was a perfect location for a 15-20 minute walk to the pub and Loch Ness and was ideal for our final stop of our summer trip.
