The chalet sits on a hill so you get views over an inlet with hills beyond.
Lounge kitchen very well appointed (for those without either Alexa or Google play a learning curve) with audio and tv. Kitchen very nicely done. Plenty of dishwasher tablets. The provision of washing machine and dryer a real boon, especially with soap and conditioner.
Bathroom equally well fitted out. Shower was excellent. My wife has insisted on buying more of the toilet soap. Towels are great, soft, and plenty of them.
Bedroom very comfortable, plenty of storage.
Evelyn and Duncan were excellent hosts
Altogether…. Great

Perfect rural location which was quiet and comfortable with everything you need to have a very enjoyable stay in the beautiful Isle of Skye. Cosy cottage with log fire if you need it, which I didn't and in actual fact I turned the heating off at times. Kitchen had all equipment you need along with a cosy living room and very nice bathroom..big bath for those who want one along with shower which had great pressure. Bed was very comfortable, and I can be a bit fussy with beds, don't like them too soft and this one was perfect for me. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc.
Owner Kati kept in touch leading up to my stay with information regarding access and some places to visit, advising anything needed to get in touch and she would help wherever possible. Her family live not far away from the cottage so I'm sure she would be round to assist if you had any issues or need help with something.
All in all I would definitely recommend staying here, just know it is located up a small rural hillside and a wee bit away from any shops for food etc.

The cottage is beautiful there is everything what you need . First able is absolutely clean , you have all comfort. From the big window you have a wonderful landscape. Close to the cottage 5 minutes by car there is a really good restaurant. It s a bit expensive but the food is really nice. I really high recommended. We didn’t want to leave.

Instruction from owners how to find cottage were spot on. Although phone reception was really good and Waze guided us till the parking place of cottage. View from the cottage was marvelous, house was clean, cozy and place was quiet. It's petty we could stay there only for one night, would like to stay for longer time in the future! Thank you!

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The croft is a beautiful property and Tigh Dubh an extremely cosy retreat. The hand-picked furniture and decor, the little details, and the fireplace create a comforting atmosphere and make you feel right at home. Alistair's island tips were invaluable and helped us to replace some of the tourist hotspots with great alternatives. As a bonus, he even helped us pump up the tyre on our rental car, saving us a trip to the local petrol station.
Wooden little lodge with beds for 4 - cosy enough with clean linen.
Amazing location - loch and mountain views from the car park. Short walk to the West Highland way hike. Short drive to world class locations such as Glencree, and the Ben Nevis trail, and the Braveheart village.
Staff were friendly and flexible (I was a whole day late checking in, they did not mind).
The property was in a attractive location in the village, with grass, trees and shrubs at the back and a patio which was a pleasant place to relax. The property has been built to a high specification and quality, had excellent facilties and was very comfortable. It was a great base to explore Skye.
I've stayed in Greshornish before so knew what to expect and was not disappointed in any way. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are immaculate and quaint. The evening meal was of top quality standard in presentation, substance and service. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely relaxing, quiet, luxurious stay.
Beautiful property in a lovely location, the hosts went above and beyond making us feel welcome. The perfect retreat, clean and tidy with a good selection of amenities and little touches like lighting the fire prior to our arrival made it feel very welcoming and cosy. We can’t wait to stay again!
It was exceptional. We wanted to find somewhere special to celebrate our birthdays and this was perfect in every respect. The lodge was a beautiful old building, the room was so luxurious and comfortable, service was impeccable and the food was exquisite. John and Sergio made us so welcome. Wonderful, Wonderful. Diolch o galon.
