Location is perfect, tucked away but still right in the centre of town and all clean and tidy. Communication with the hosts was excellent and everything provided for a comfortable stay. There are books, board games and TV for a night in but we popped into the Turk's Head next door where the locals were very welcoming and dog friendly. If you're cycling in the area there's a massive utility room for secure storage.

M6. Great stop over from coming down from Scotland and nipping into the lakes for the weekend. Sun room and balcony off bedroom was bliss enjoyed a couple of drinks in the evening sat up there. Play park right around the corner. Fantastic friendly pub with some great food and drink beer garden with play area right around corner from the property. Lovely little gated patio area great for letting dog out safely. Will be booking here again.

Great location in centre of Dufton. Very clean comfortable accomodation. Great cafe next door serving breakfasts, coffee, scones etc. Terrific pub accross the green with exceptional food, friendly welcome.

Post Office Cottage is a lovely place to stay - right in the heart of Dufton village.
The house is very comfortable, warm, well furnished and well equipped with three comfortable bedrooms and two very nice up to date bathrooms.
Beautiful period cottage. Great location in centre of the village with excellent pub opposite. The kitchen was really well equipped and comfortable for x6 adults. Lounges, while small (cosy) gave the chance to have a room to suit the mood eg:tv room vs quiet place to read.
Bedrooms were beautiful and beds very comfortable. Night time torch was a thoughtful touch.
Bathrooms well equipped with great showers (although only bath in en-suite)
