Location is fantastic, hosts very friendly but also gave us privacy, hut was lovely and warm in the cold weather! Cosy bed and shower better than expected. We’d have made more use of the outdoor area if we hadn’t been busy visiting family during our stay. So peaceful and our little dog loved it.

Well equipped and very comfortable lodge. Great location, within easy walking distance of Kippford village, which has two decent pubs with beer gardens and a lovely tea room, all of which have magnificent views over the estuary.
The hotel is located just a short drive from the beautiful seaside village of Kippford in wooded grounds. Our room was comfortable and bright with a terrace with chairs and a table where you could sit outside in the sun. Breakfast was excellent. When we had a problem with our car when we were leaving, Jamie, the nephew of the owner was very helpful to us.

So far as the cuisine is concerned, The Clonyard House Hotel offers an extensive A la carte menu where the food is made fresh to order at an affordable price. The quality of the food & it's presentation is "second to none'

The caravan was beautifully positioned within the site. Very close to the woodland walk which takes you into the village. Site wardens were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Very dog friendly site with parking available next to the caravan and also additional parking nearby.
Clonyard House is well located on a beautiful stretch of coastline called the Colvend Coast, and it is an old mansion house with a modern wing. The rooms are comfortable, and there is a good restaurant and bar. It is not right on the sea shore, but it is not far away, and one could easily spend a few days based here. I was just there for one night, as touring Scotland just for the weekend.
