Very quiet and attractive location. Well situated for exploring Northumbria and the Scottish borders. Great local shop in Cornhill village less than 2 miles away, as well as good provision shopping in Berwick upon Tweed (including M&S Food). The cottage is absolutely charming, the bedrooms are bigger than they look in the photos, the bathrooms small but perfectly adequate, all clean and fragrant, the kitchen and living room just as expected - lovely welcome basket of goodies, fresh flowers in a vase in the kitchen, easily enough basics (loopaper, soap, shower gel, shampoo, washing up liquid, kitchen paper. dish-washer tabs, tinfoil, clingfilm, salt, rubbish bags etc) to last our 6 nights. Good reception on Sky TV in the living room . Big fridge-freezer, dishwasher works well as does hot water (in summer we did not use the heating or open fire).
Boasting quiet street views, Berwick Upon Tweed - Norham - 15 Minutes From Beach - Dog Friendly - 3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Cottage - Large Balcony - Private Garden - Off Street Parking - Quiet Rural...

We couldn't fault the cottage in any way. We only stayed for 2 nights, as we were catching a ferry early Friday morning in Poole, but we will definitely be staying more nights when we're back in the UK. We are currently working in Guernsey.

Excellent location close to the lovely village and pub. The property is spacious and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is lovely and warm. The kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 outdoor areas one of which is secure for dogs. We received a beautiful welcome hamper that was filled with goodies, a really lovely touch. I loved having a sofa in the bedroom and the balcony made it feel like a suite and ensured you could have some time alone. Each room also has a TV.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Lovely to have a shower and separate bath and to be able to put extra heating on if needed.
Both bedrooms felt spacious and the rest of the cottage felt really roomy.

The house had everything we could need, and was absolutely spotless. The beds and sofas were comfy too! The town was lovely, and the house was a very short walk from the river and the local shops. There’s also a lovely playground for the kids only a few minutes walk away. The host was also very welcoming and recommended some local places to visit.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

Excellent lcation with stunning view. Good parking, had everything we needed. Quiet location away from traffic or other noise. Slept really well in the property. Welcome hamper had great quality local produce. Plentiful hot water. Luxurious soft white towels and quality toiletries available.
This property is just gorgeous. Beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and well set up.
Kitchen has everything you might need. We had a fabulous meal at the Collingwood Pub which is only a walk around the corner. There is also a very well equipped village shop.
The privacy and the hot tub were the most important factors. Compact cabin with lots of useful kitchen gadgets. The 3 single beds suited a small family. Nice and warm, held the heat well. Plenty places to walk and visit near by. Lovely post office in nearest village with a good bakery.
Breakfast was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented. The kipper and poached eggs were the best I’ve had.
The location was great as we enjoyed the traditional rural feel of a small village with easy access to other places of interest. Bonus was visiting the Flodden Battle field which was situated just down the road.
The staff were friendly and efficient and we were made to feel very welcome.
Good location - the village store next door was a delight. Bed was comfortable. Main proprietor was v friendly and accommodating. Evening meal was very good (veggie Thai curry) and decent value. Breakfast was tasty (once the order was sorted - see below)
Everything- very well equipped. The hot tub added a new level of luxury. Being under the stars was just magical. The owner is very contactable and nothing too much trouble. Very peaceful and tranquil.
The location was great not too far from little villages. We also visited Edinburgh which only took around 40 minuets. The beds were very comfy and the cabin was always kept warm. The hot tub was lovely too.
excellent location! and only a short drive to local village! Paul was very welcoming on arrival and
let’s us into our chalet!
made sure we had a contact number for him incase we needed anything
Looking out on to the lake with the swans & geese was lovely. Very peaceful only 2 lodges on the lake. The lodge was very cosy and the heater warmed it up very quickly. Good kitchen with fridge and oven plus a BBQ on deck outside. It was great sitting in the hot tub and looking at all the stars out on a clear night. A mile or so from village shop which was very well stocked.
