Fabulous well equipped, comfortable, beautifully decorated accommodation. The welcome tea, coffee and biscuits were much appreciated. Jo our host communicated well throughout our short stay, and gave us helpful suggestions to make the most of our stay.

After arriving at a different booked place to find it closed. Managed to get this place and it was a lovely cottage. Everything was there for our needs and great location.

Lots of space in the house. It was clean and had everything you needed.

Absolutely superb place.We had the luxury room and it really was beautiful.The bed was so comfortable,a huge bathroom,lovely terrace and stunning views.Had breakfast and Sunday dinner and both were out standing.
We chose the luxury suite and it was lovely.
We had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean and warm .
We had dinner at the white horse and it was delicious 😋. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble.

The whole place was just lovely - the service was on point and friendly, the room was great - suite with living area, tea & coffee facilities (fresh milk and water in the fridge), balcony, double sinks in the bathroom - just felt like a little bit of luxury without being pretentious.
Sadly we could not stay here in the end as the village was cut off by the floods. The hotel were excellent at communicating with us under difficult circumstances.
We needed accommodation near to the wedding venue where our daughter was getting married. We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy indeed with the room.
Very spacious and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was ultra modern and luxurious.

This was our fourth visit to this property. We have used a stay as a stopover on our way further north and for a short stay break. The property has stunning views and is well appointed in a small village district. There are walks and the towns of Buxton and Bakewell are close by. Not far from the dales and Chatsworth.
The accommodation is very good, clean and well maintained. The food at the White Horse is excellent both in the cooking, quality and choice. We enjoy our stay here and the friendly owners and staff.
Very comfortable room with kettle and large selection of teas and coffee, TV and internet. Bathroom across the landing with shower over bath and lots of different toiletries. Use of kitchen with fridge, microwave and utensils. Great location for local shops and restaurants, also for the Peak District villages, Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth. Viktoria and Csaba are really friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed my few days here very much ☺
