Very comfortable room with a lovely bathroom. Bright and fresh bedroom. Enjoyed a very good evening meal and the breakfast was good too: kippers for me with full english for my husband. Liked the fresh milk in the bedroom fridge for coffee.
Pub is in a quiet and pretty village, very quiet at night. Easily accessed Bamburgh Castle from here. Enjoyed our stay.
The village was beautiful - nice stone houses, lovely pub with Real Ale and excellent food. Well as stocked small and friendly store.
The cottage had a beautiful curb appeal with rose bushes in front.. The bedroom was duel aspect. There was a well equipped kitchen. The log burner was a bonus at night.
Beautiful cottage and facitites, peaceful location with wonderful views. A short drive to amazing beach's, castles and things to do. It's a 40 mins drive to St Abbs where the fishing village is picture postcard, with a coastal walk along the cliffs worth the drive. We have had a wonderful stay and the cream tea welcome pack was perfect. Thank you.
Beautiful setting, friendly & welcoming staff, well stocked bar and delicious food that was locally sourced. Had dinner and breakfast and they were fresh, flavoursome and cooked to order. Service was superb, the team couldn't do enough to ensure our visit was brilliant. The room was luxurious, very clean and comfortable and a peaceful night's sleep.
