The cottage was very cosy and the kitchen was well equipped. Nice bedrooms and a good bathroom. The keepers were very friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful garden were you can stay. And in the morning the sun is welcoming you for breakfast outside.

Spotlessly clean with comfy beds which had quality linen. Good communication from the host with easy parking and straight forward access. Although we didn't meet the host he left a welcoming letter letting us know he'd left us a couple of beers and soft drinks in the fridge along with the fresh milk which was a nice touch. No breakfast it was a whole house rental. Cawthorne is a lovely village and house was well positioned. House was extremely well fitted out and was beautiful inside. All three en-suite bedrooms were very well done and extremely comfortable, and the downstairs was perfect for what we wanted.
Lovely old mansion house in scenic surroundings of the North Peaks. Room had lovely view .

The cottage was perfect for us, it was lovely and clean and comfortable with all the required amenities. The location was good for us as we had easy access into Barnsley. The village was in walking distance and there was a nice country walk for the dogs which lead into a cricket meadow.
The apartment was fabulous, so luxurious.

For the room price we did not expect luxury and also Yorkshire is not NY, Paris or London. The room and the hotel fitted the purpose: clean, comfortable, friendly and close to the Sculpture Park, not expensive
