Double Award Winning 1700's Grd 2 listed cottage near Stonehenge, hotel in Amesbury

Situated in Amesbury, Double Award Winning 1700's Grd 2 listed cottage near Stonehenge is a recently renovated accommodation, 3.8 km from Stonehenge and 10 km from Old Sarum.

Very central to Amesbury so easy to walk out to amenities; close to the attractions we were visiting, I.e. Stone Henge and Bluestone vineyard. Parking for 2 cars was brilliant. The courtyard in the back was lovely to sit out in - we were lucky enough to have some sunshine during our short stay. We also appreciated the games, particularly Backgammon. The owners were very friendly and welcoming in all their communications.

It is based on a farm with the option to wonder around for free. There is animal feed available if interested, a restaurant/café which is nice to pop into but only offers the basics within the shop for those residing here. However the restaurant does offer amazing food. Its idyllic, quiet and peaceful, a good place for a retreat or to go somewhere if you are a travelling artist or writer.
