The place was so neat. The beds were clean and soft, and the rooms were spacious, especially the kitchen and dining area. It's located in a quiet location, with a Tesco Express store and a couple of restaurants nearby. Overall, it's an excellent place to stay and value for money too. I'd rate 10/10.

A beautiful rustic country pub full of charm and history, with very welcoming and friendly staff. My room / cabin at the back of the property was tastefully renovated and consistent with the era of the time. It was spotlessly clean, large in size (bedroom, kitchenette and family room), great wifi and had a magnificent view of the rolling hills and valley which you woke to. If you're looking for a country retreat for the weekend, or just an overnight stay away from the city, I would happy recommend this charming pub.

Quiet and secluded location, beautiful old building and gardens, clean and well appointed room, and large, well-cooked portions of food. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful, with nothing too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend it as a base for the local attractions in the area e.g Crich Tramway Village, Crompton Mills etc.
