Location was good, but only for limited time, restaurants limited unless you dined down the hill. Difficult access to apartment, steep rises. Probably exceptional during high season, but we were there in quiet time. Outstanding views from apartment, comfortable, but lots of stairs, would not suit the unfit.

Terrific location adjacent to the town and reeking of character. The blend of ancient with modern suited us. We easily walked up to the central part of town and loved the location and convenient parking.

Breakfast was excellent
Located on a beautiful quiet street in an extremely scenic village with a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. Hosts couldn't have been kinder to us. Facilities were exceptional, and newly remodeled. Enjoyed the bathrooms and the sauna, as well as the common areas. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Wanted to stay longer!
The place has loads of character and charm with easy parking and a short walk to all the village attractions. But Its' greatest asset is Muriel who was the best host we have met in our forty years of visiting France. She went out of her way to help and advise us and was exceptional in every way.
She treated us so well we didn't want to leave!
Gorgeous flat in a typical stone village house, 5mins walk from the marketsquare and almost next to the iconic steps up to the eglise , yet so quiet. The table was set to greet us, milk etc in the fridge, fully equipped kitchen. We could have happily stayed a week but only had the one night on our travels through the Tarn region of southern France. The owner lives right next door, ready to answer questions with her perfect English
Nicholaas and his wife were superb hosts. They have created a delightful little oasis in an ancient house in an ancient village. We were lucky for Nicholaas to cook one night and the food wine and conversation was memorable. We have recommended La Maison to friends within the south west and abroad.
Very well situated in this very hilltop village. I would not recomend driving a big car around the tiny cobbled streets. Parking is public about 500 metres down a steep gradien.
Maison Bakéa was perfect for us. We were shown round by Marie on arrival and told about the houses’ history. It is beautiful renovated and you feel you have travelled back in time just with all the modern day comforts. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful and the stay exceeded our expectations. We walked to the medieval village for dinner which was a great experience. The house was exceptionally clean and we have nothing negative to say about our stay.
I can highly recommend l'Oree du ciel. The hosts were lovely, very attentive and charming. The breakfast was excellent, the fresh squeezed juice truly a bonus. l'Oree is a short 10 minute drive from Cordes in a small village on the hillside, away from the city crowds but easily acceptable. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious.
