The house is very spacious, comfortable and full of charme. It is located in the forest so it is very quiet, yet amidst other log houses and a few minutes from the main road, easy to reach. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Communication with the owner was nice and easy, they gave us also a few tips on nearby trails.

Situated by Lake Salonkijärvi, 4 km from Ruka Ski Resort, Rukan Salonki offers free Wi-Fi and regional cuisine. All chalets have fully equipped kitchens and private saunas.

I have stayed in Rukan Salonki cottages before and have always liked it. It is best choice for bigger groups because big cottages have 6 bedrooms each and 14 people can fit comfortably
