Communication from Philipe and Maria was excellent and Maria was so friendly and helpful checking us in especially when we arrive cold from cycling through the snow over the mountain. The location is excellent and the house is full of character a really traditional cosy mountain house.

This place was available on the weekend for a very good price, so most certainly value for money.
We arrived at around 6.30pm, so missed the opportunity to make use of the garden.
The house was very spacious and beautifully decorated with rustic style ornaments.
There is alot of privacy as this house is tucked away in the mountains.
There was a parking space which was a bonus.

The villa is located in the oldest part of Ugijar. It is very spacious and full of character. The views from the terraces are stunning, and the whole area is very peaceful. A very good place to recharge one's batteries, and within easy reach of other small villages in the Alpujarra. The two small local museums are well worth a visit. They are full of fascinating information about the historical and social background of the region.
