A new independent house with a good quality building and finishing. The property has 4 bed rooms, well equipped kitchen, laundry and garage. So in fact it fits to accomodate a big extended family of up to 10 persons! Jose, the owner/manager is very friendly, reactive and helpful even if we communicate through WhatsAp only. He started giving us the guidance even weeks before we arrived in Portomarin. Will stay again there next time but surely with more member of our family (We felt sorry that such a big house is only occupied by 3 of us while the other Camino pilgrims had difficulty to find a lodge on that day of 01 May - Labour Day - where most hotels are fully booked). Absolutely fabulous place. Maria went out of her way to make it as comfortable as possible. There were fruits, snacks, and drinks to choose from. The apartment is immaculate. It was very cold and wet, and the lovely fireplace warmed us up quickly. The apartment is a bit out of the way, but a quick walk to the town centre, and you will be close to all the shops and restaurants.
