Loved the place in general. Loved that the swimming pool was fenced off for the kids. It was all clean and well equipped. The couple whose property it is were very helpful and friendly. I liked that the house didn't have any stairs either because I have two small children. Beds were reasonably comfortable. It's a quiet, family type place because it's inside the grounds of the couple's family home.

Stunning property. Spotless throughout. Extremely well equipped, from the kitchen to the amount of towels provided. Beautiful peaceful location, perfect to relax and disconnect yet only a 10 -15 min walk to the town centre.

The peaceful accommodations were not only beautiful but also clean. Assistance was available quickly and they were kind and helpful. The area is walkable and has everything you need while maintaining the authenticity of the area and the small village feel. I hope to return. My partner was only with me for one of three days and I am anxious to return as a couple for a few days. Great place for solo travel or couples.
Beautiful old building beautifully renovated, clean and convenient....In this ancient village the old stone houses are beautiful and white with elegant wrought iron window bars and balconies....but the "streets" are barely wide enough for a car...which only adds to the genuine charm. However parking was available too and there was a useful restaurant and bar within.
The breakfast was very good and great value.
The staff went out of their way to help us and the building and room was absolutely spotless.
Although the hotel is simplistic it has everything you need (apart from tea/coffee)in the rooms and to an excellent standard.
Parking in the hotel’s car park was free and safe. However, as in all small Spanish villages a bit tricky to find.
Room no 9 is spacious and beautifully appointed, all In white. A settee, gorgeous bed and bedding and shuttered. A retreat from the heat. Lola the receptionist was so helpful on our arrival, getting us to the hotel car park personally. Great lunches, friendly service in a lovely atmospheric town. Tourist Info was just around the corner.
authentic Spanish accommodation . Our hosts were so helpful with suggestions of what to see and do both in Medina Sidonia and further afield, nothing was too much trouble. would highly recommend this property if you want to sample Spanish life in a beautiful old village house.
We were looking for an affordable hotel during one month trip from France-Portugal-Spain. This one was perfect. We had no idea about this village; Medina Sidonia but we were very happy to discover this beautiful & unique place. The hotel is clean and confortable, well located as there are parking place not far and the centre of town is only 3,4 minutes on foot. Special thanks to Sandra who assist us giving maximum information on our arrival.
The apartment is very well equipped, and location is excellent for walking around the village, plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.
Tremendous views from lounge window and on the terrace, with advantage of having the pool in the terrace.
Bed comfortable and plenty of hot water, fully equipped kitchen.
