The villa itself was amazing, with a beautiful pool, BBQ area, and modern interior. The transport links were convenient, with reasonable Uber prices and trains to Bilbao. We also enjoyed a great day trip to San Sebastián, thanks to the excellent bus links nearby. The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Iñigo was incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out times, and he was always on hand to help us 24/7. Additionally, the nearby supermarket in Gexto was fantastic - super reasonable prices and staffed with friendly people. Lovely home in a small village not far from Bilbao. Large home with lots of room for everyone. There were 8 adults staying for 2 nights and everyone enjoyed their time. Lots of parking and easy to get around the area. Very well-equipped kitchen, very clean and lovely patio area. Very friendly and helpful host. We appreciated all the great information given about the area and where to eat and shop etc. but would suggest this be typed up and printed out and left in the house for any guests rather than be told verbally. We highly recommend dining at the cider house Ayoberri Sagardotegia at the entrance to the driveway. We drove to the Funicular de Artxanda (around a 20-minute drive) parked our car and then took the funicular into Bilbao. Easy and fast plus great views across Bilbao.
