It is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore many trails in Riederalp. It is very close to Riederalp West cable car station. The house (we second floor)) is a very solid build with history (you can read old guest books), and the owners made almost everything for you to feel at home. It is peaceful, with a great view from the balcony over the valley and mountain ridge. We enjoyed staying there for 4 nights.

We so enjoyed our stay at this delightful barn conversation. Every possible facility had been provided and the hosts had put a lot of thought into the needs of the customer. The furnishings, fixtures, fittings and finish were of a very high standard and we could want for nothing.
The outside area was great as we were able to take advantage of the fine weather and the patio area had a table and plenty of seating. Being able to park the car next to the property was a real bonus for unloading shopping etc.
The real jewel was the view of the snow capped mountains which constantly changed in character with the changing sunlight. A bonus was the paragliding school opposite which we were able to watch as the participants descended from the peaks.
A delightful place to stay, we would hope to visit again.

No hot water in the hotel and we were told this was because they had only just opened for the season. I think if I was 'opening for the season' I would have made sure there was hot water available to guests a priority! The dining room was not open and we had to go to another hotel in the village (seemingly under the same ownership) for dinner. The breakfast was served in the Hotel Lodge Inn and was adequate.
My stay at this hotel was an absolute pleasure thanks to the incredible staff and breathtaking environment. The hosts were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The restaurant was outstanding; the beef beer soup and beef cube were divine. The entire property was impeccably clean and cozy, providing the perfect retreat for a relaxing and refreshing stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience. Thank you to the staff for creating such a remarkable stay.
