Very clean and comfortable, located just outside the village of Baddeck, Jan and Glen were gracious hosts who made us feel very welcome.

The location within Baddeck is ideal for exploring the village and the Alexander Graham Bell centre. It is also a good place to start and finish a trip around the Cabot Trail.

View of the bay from the window/rear of room is simply stunning. Know of some 'luxury' hotels who would kill for such views!

Great location and lovely staff. Telegraph Houde Motel is on a cute village called Baddeck. There’s so much character in the hotel and rooms, I loved it and really enjoyed my stay. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was clean and cheerful, and the twin beds were comfortable with nice linen. The location is close to the main tourist area of Baddeck and handy for walking to a local ceilidh. The elevated views from the hotel of the village of Baddeck and the lake were stunning, and the patio area of the hotel had beautiful flowers and baskets. Breakfast is a little extra cost, but the buffet and room together represented good value. The hotel staff were all polite and welcoming. We enjoyed or stay!

Gorgeous luxurious bed that was extremely comfortable. Beautiful place. It is important to call your hosts ahead as the site itself is unhosted. They will make arrangements to leave the key in a convenient place for you. The setting is awesome.

The room was a good size and had lots of windows, we really enjoyed the fireplace after we went to a nearby store to purchase some wood, it was quiet as we seemed like the only guests that were in that part of the hotel, great location close to the village and amenities

These are older accommodations with older furniture. The accommodations are clean and dinner was lovely. Unfortunately, they didn’t serve breakfast and that was a disappointment. I think I may have paid extra for a balcony expecting something luxurious but it was more an outside area for smoking. Also it meant we were on the third floor without an elevator and a big climb for seniors carrying their luggage. All in all though we were grateful that we found a place with power and dinner in the aftermath of storm Fiona
