The Black Orchid tree house was so cool! We especially enjoyed using the shower.
With all the louvers open, it really felt like showering in the tree tops! As an open-air concept home, the addition of AC in the bedroom was greatly appreciated. Pleasantly surprised how quiet the morning road traffic was, and we loved the songs of the birds with coffee in the morning (bring your own grounds). Kiddo enjoyed having a whole loft to himself.

Nice little beach hut with a 1 min walk to the private picture perfect beach. Lovely location which is what the place is all about. Clean and tidy and a no fuss approach to booking in and out. We had a very relaxing few days. The accommodation is functional and as described. Located a short drive from the main Placencia Village where there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink. We particularly liked Cha Chi's, amazing cocktails and Pizza's with 3-6 happy hour too.

Beachfront. Woke up and walked into the beautiful Caribbean blue. Large lush and comfortable king bed. Hot shower. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use. Delicious food at the restaurant. Overall, a 9.8/10 for us! This will now become our first priority to book whenever we return to Placencia!
The grounds, pool and beach are beautiful; the location is proximate to the Village and convenient to other restaurants; staff were friendly and the food and cocktails were excellent.
Beautiful location, the beachfront was a lovely setting. The pool was really nice and we had access to paddle boards ( the sea is very calm in the morning), kayaks and bikes. We were given a free drink on arrival which was a nice touch. The room had great facilities and was comfortable and spacious. The hotel dog and cat were so cute and friendly. Great cocktails at the bistro.
Loved the friendly staff, being 50 steps to the clean beach, felt safe, good sized clean air conditioned room, the kayaks, sup, beach chairs & hammock to use. Because it was a bit from Placencia village, it felt a bit more relaxing. Also loved the fresh coconut directly from the tree.
Location was decent. Close enough but still sufficiently distant from the hustle and bustle of the village.

The beach front location, proximity to the village, interior design, furnishings, decor, etc. were all impeccable. We could tell each fixture, painting, etc. inside the house was carefully and intentionally selected. The roof top was a nice touch as well, especially the view of the ocean. Also liked that all bedrooms were on the 2nd floor and had a balcony. Having a private balcony for each bedroom would have been ideal.
A beautiful , small hotel in an idyllic setting . Well cared for. Lots of thought has gone into the landscape . It has a jetty out into the sea and its own private pool
