The property was amazing, the views were stunning sunrise and sunset beautiful! The outdoor fire place was awesome we loved roasting marshmallows with the kids. Mandy and Dean were so lovely and helpful! The property inside is immaculate so clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious! It had everything we needed! Our Labrador came with us and he had a great time too lots of space for him to run about! Beautiful wild life, horses and cows, lots to see whilst outside. I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was at Billabong Cottage is a must, wonderful escape from reality! It’s was so sad leaving we had a great time! Thanks so much Mandy, Dean and Family we will be back!

All I can say is Wow! My stay was So so lovely and better than I expected. All the luxury of a 5 star accommodation and all the comfort of being at home. Ken and Mark are amazing hosts, and so accomodating. Highly recommended. I won’t stay anywhere else when I come up to Taree!
Breakfast opted for breakfast at nearby interesting Wingham, recommended in Carravilla’s excellent compendium. Did not have as single complaint, everything was complete, fastidiously clean, AND everything electrical and mechanical worked perfectly. The manager was warm and welcoming, and seemed very approachable if necessary, which wasn’t. Bed excellent and shower great. Best vanity taps In the World. Wife & I were simply blown away from this place. Nothing more to say, except tat this is the honest truth.
Beautiful room with adjoining lounge and en-suite made for a luxurious feel and a peaceful sleep. The gardens are immaculate and such a pleasure to sit on the verandah and watch the world go by. Being treated to an evening glass of wine, wonderful conversation and a breakfast of my choosing are just a few of the added touches that makes the Birches extra special.
Older style motel, not big rooms, not luxurious but well kept and v. clean, nice bed and good shower.
