Southern Brazil is blessed with beautiful coastlines, and Bombinhas has some of the prettiest you'll find in Santa Catarina. The municipality sprawls across a narrow peninsula that extends into the south Atlantic, and contains no less than 22 beaches within its perimeters – and all the booming tourism of sun-seeking holiday-goers that comes with it.
Swimming and snorkelling are two of the most popular ways to spend time in Bombinhas. The area's clear, blue waters and rich marine life provide more than enough reason to spend the majority of your holiday in and by the sea. The surf is especially calm by Bombas Beach and Bombinhas Beach – two of the area's most frequented sands thanks to their proximity to hotels and restaurants. Lagoinha is much smaller, with a protected tidal pool that's ideal for snorkelling, while Praia de Quatro Ilhas's stronger waves draw more surfers.
If you can tear yourself away from Bombinhas's scenic shores, you'll find a bevy of lush parks and trails that offer equally impressive views. The Municipal Park of Morro do Macaco features overlooks of Mariscal and Canto Grande Beach, while Galheta Municipal Park spotlights the area's flora and fauna. Don't miss a visit to the Mirante Eco 360˚ viewpoint, whose mountain summit affords sweeping views all the way to the island of Florianópolis.

Excellent holiday resort.
4 February 2024
Excellent holiday resort. Lots of beaches, restaurants, bars bit also the possibility to do some hiking for instance. Very friendly population. Great place to go with a family. Groups of young people looking to party around maybe should look for another place as Bombinhas might not answer to their requirements but for families it is perfect.
Bombihas was great but we didn't go during busy season.

Bombihas was great but we didn't go during busy season. Maybe a week or 2 before the prime tourism time. We were suprised how quiet it was. Normally bombihas traffic is insane. Super expensive. 12-15R for a coffee. Most restaurants will add a 10% service fee and an entertaining fee if live music is playing. Casa lagosta and Berro d'Aqua are recommended. Especially the latter has amazing food.
Holiday ruined by stomach sickness.

Holiday ruined by stomach sickness. The place is lovely but you have to keep in mind that running water in Bombinhas is not drinkable. We were extremely careful, we even brushed our teeth with bottled water but still got sick. Staff at our hotel confirmed that the coffe was had for breakfast was made with tap water. Raw vegetables you may eat on a sandwich (lettuce, tomato, etc.) were also washed with that water, as well as fruit. And we were not the only ones: another family we met got sick as well. Again, the place is wonderful, but it's very hard to avoid getting sick when water is the problem.
We spent 7 nights in Bombinhas and we would love more time.

We spent 7 nights in Bombinhas and we would love more time. We went to almost all beaches in Bombinhas, however the best beaches were Sepultura and Praia do Biguá, no doubt you will have the best views. We also did quite a few hikings, so much nature and stunning views wherever you go. Psicina Natural da Sepultura is a must as well. We also loved views from Morro do Macaco, stunning views.
I would highly recommend Bombinhas to everyone who goes...

I would highly recommend Bombinhas to everyone who goes there. What a beautiful place. There are many very good restaurants and many things to do there. You can go snorkelling and diving. You can go out into the sea with a pirate ship, or just stay on the beach.
