25 April 2024
We have been going to Dubai for more than 15 years, especially for the sea and the beach. We do this because in spring the weather is perfect, the sea water is warm, the probability that bad weather will spoil your vacation is zero. Dubai is one of the few places where you are not bothered by beach vendors and where you are sure you will find your phone on the deckchair when you come back from the sea. In addition, there are direct flights from Bucharest. For those who go for the first time, the city has many attractions. One of the evenings we go to the Dubai Mall for one, another. Here you can see the famous artesian fountains and take pictures of the Burj Khalifa. For fans of oriental cuisine, you can eat sensationally at Bosporus Turkish Restaurant, on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.

We stayed in Golden Tulip Media Hotel and it was excellent in accommodating and catering people. Well organised, very clean, polite and well mannered members of staff and well equipped. I will go back again when I get the next chance to visit Dubai. Also Dubai is an attractive place for everyone to visit and enjoy.

Apart from the rain and flood disaster, it's a beautiful and luxurious city. Marina and Palm Beach are magnificent areas. Instead of highlighting the good aspects like everyone else, I'd like to point out what you need to be careful about. I recommend getting a local SIM card for reliable and fast internet usage. With roaming, you usually get only 4G and unreliable service. The roads are very wide and complex, and Google Maps directions are insufficient and not explanatory enough. There's no or weak internet at the airport. Duty-free items are more expensive than in the city. Make sure your phone is fully charged because there are no charging outlets at the airport!

22 April 2024
My recent stay at RED Radisson Silicon Oasis with my family was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and efficiency that set the tone for a memorable experience. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious 1BHK unit, which provided us with ample space and comfort throughout our stay. The check-in process was swift and hassle-free, allowing us to start enjoying our vacation without delay. One of the standout features of the property is its emphasis on security. Access cards were required to enter various areas of the property, providing us with peace of mind and a sense of safety throughout our stay. Additionally, the presence of a basement car park added to the convenience of our visit, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area at our leisure. Speaking of the surrounding area, the location of RED Radisson Silicon Oasis couldn't be better. With a plethora of amazing restaurants within walking distance and the Silicon Central Mall nearby, there was no shortage of entertainment options for the whole family to enjoy. Despite being close to bustling attractions, the property itself offered a serene and quiet atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploration. In summary, our experience at RED Radisson Silicon Oasis exceeded our expectations in every way. From the friendly staff to the comfortable accommodations and convenient location, it truly stands out as one of the best properties in Dubai. We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

22 April 2024
The return was very dangerous due to the rainstorm and the flooded streets. The lack of information and guidance from the authorities (airport, hotel, police etc), we were not informed about the hazard of the roads and airport closure, getting stuck many hours in flooded cars, roads and extremely crowded airport with no seating and proper management for large number of visitors. It was a disappointment.

21 April 2024
Worth a look to see how ostentatious oil money can be spent. Some very interesting architecture and city kept very clean by imported labourers. Area around Burj Kalifa and associated fountain and shops worth a visit. Good cheaper eating in the food hall at Dubai Mall. Recommend the Iranian outlet - great soup.
