Very comfortable and reasonable for the space you get. I like the self check in and out process as it was easy and convenient.

All rooms come with a private bathroom equipped with a shower that includes guest bath robes and free toiletries. Nice and clean room, good size for two people. It has plenty of both electricity sockets and USB sockets for charging devices. Bed was super comfortable, it was hard to leave it. The bathroom was modern and clean, great shower, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available. Central location by the Gaslamp Quarter. Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. I was not expecting a free welcome drink and cookies upon check-in, that small gesture really heightened the experience. I absolutely love the pineapple theme and the pet friendliness.

The Pacific Ocean is less than 5 minutes’ walk from this Santa Barbara property. Continental breakfast and free WiFi are provided. A refrigerator is included in each room. Santa Barbara Airport is 10 miles away. Very clean and fresh. Had a lovely ambiance and the room was a good size. Perfect to wander to the beach or restaurants/bars with free parking. The breakfast was simple but good quality food, teas and coffee. We loved our stay which was unfortunately only for one night.

The Hotel has a great location just in front of fisherman wharf and some steps away from the boardwalk. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We loved the complimentary coffee, tea and popcorn. It was a plus we weren’t expecting. At night we enjoyed the hot tub!

Tahquitz Pines is my new favorite quick getaway!! The property is beautiful and immaculate! There is so much to do! Staff is friendly and accommodating. The decor in the various rooms and cottages are first class, not fadish or glitzy, but very tasteful and eye pleasing. The grounds at night are breathtaking! I was actually amazed at the affordability of this property compared to how fantastic this property is. I expected something far less for the price. It should be called a resort instead of retreat, although I understand why. Everything has the look and feel of being brand new. Rooms have very comfortable beds and bedding, and each room of our 2 bedroom cottage had a big screen TV along with microwave and mini frig. There are some that have full kitchens. If you are going to Idyllwild, you MUST stay here!! This is coming from someone who retired from the travel industry, so I know a good property when I see one!! You will not be disappointed!! There are so many walking trails, basketball, fitness room, recreation room with ping pong and pool, and restaurant on the grounds to open in summer. Lovely pool and spa. Wonderful playground. Firewood and pits are available for that night campfire with smores for the kids! Dog friendly! You don't have to leave the grounds, but town is only a mile down the road. Loved everything about Tahquitz Pines and am planning a trip towards summer for all ten of us!
