Amazing Volterra town location but the highlight was the Moretti family, who are amazing. They are some of the best hosts we have encountered in our travels. Welcoming, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The owner really surprised us with offering unexpected and very welcome special help that we needed with our luggage. Thoroughly nice people. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The decor throughout was beautifully done. The room was excellent A wonderful two nights - wish it could have been more.

You will have free use of a swimming pool 350 metres from I Due Cigni. The staf were so lovely-especially Niccolo who greeted us. What a star!!! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I'm sad we couldn't eat dinner in the restuarant but jhopefully one day we can return.
