Always wanted to stay within a castle / fortress and this met my expectations.......and even had an elevator which went a long way with dealing with the luggage. Quite possibly the most relaxing and best night sleep I've had while traveling as I could leave the window open all night with the moist sea breeze vs stuff AC air and with the castle so far away from the town - very little noise. And because it was a small boutique hotel - filled with a more mature crowd that respected everyone else with minimal noise, slamming of doors and the typical loud voices in the hall at night ....but not here which was amaing. Free pass to the island to see the castle along with the crypts and a beautiful art studio with some really special pieces to take home.

The apartment was located on the 2nd floor and had a large furnished balcony. It was very nice! We had breakfast for just 5 EUR per person, per day. Overall, the stay was decent value for money, for sure! Great location, it felt really secluded and "local", unlike the other part of the island that we visited too. The place around the hotel is very green, and it's not too far from the beach. I think it took us only about 20 min, which was always a nice walk. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill, but it's not very steep. Also, the swimming pool was still working at the end of September, and the views on that level are superb!

We arrived on our scooter and were welcomed by the two lovely brothers who seem to run the hotel. We couldn't drive the scooter all the way to the hotel but they helped us find a great parking about two minutes away (cost about 3 eur for one night). The brothers and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The room was very clean, not very modern but in a classic style, we felt like home. Lovely view of the mountain and a bit of the sea. Super close to the beach with crystal clear water and serveral nice restaurants. We would love to come back!

Loved it! not fancy but so welcoming, very calm and relaxing with an amazing view and the best food we had in all of Ischia. Can't wait to go back

The breathtaking view from the hotel that I couldn't get enough of. Big and cozy hotel room, helpful and nice staff, good breakfast. I would love to have stayed there a few more days. If we come to Ischia again then for sure we're going to stay in this lovely villa❤️
