The staff is warm and accommodating. The breakfast was just enough. We would definitely come back, and we will miss it when we leave.

Beautiful place and great location but the best thing was the staff. We felt like we were a part of there family, they were amazing, always going out of their way to help us.

Always wanted to stay within a castle / fortress and this met my expectations.......and even had an elevator which went a long way with dealing with the luggage. Quite possibly the most relaxing and best night sleep I've had while traveling as I could leave the window open all night with the moist sea breeze vs stuff AC air and with the castle so far away from the town - very little noise. And because it was a small boutique hotel - filled with a more mature crowd that respected everyone else with minimal noise, slamming of doors and the typical loud voices in the hall at night ....but not here which was amaing. Free pass to the island to see the castle along with the crypts and a beautiful art studio with some really special pieces to take home.

The air-conditioned rooms are simply furnished and feature a TV and safety deposit box, some also have a sea-view balcony. The private bathroom includes a bath or shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. We stayed in a superior apartment with a kitchen. The apartment was located on the 2nd floor and had a large furnished balcony. It was very nice! We had breakfast for just 5 EUR per person, per day. Overall, the stay was decent value for money, for sure! Great location, it felt really secluded and "local", unlike the other part of the island that we visited too. The place around the hotel is very green, and it's not too far from the beach. I think it took us only about 20 min, which was always a nice walk. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill, but it's not very steep. Also, the swimming pool was still working at the end of September, and the views on that level are superb!

It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in public areas. Great value for money. Located on the west shore of Ischia in between Forio and Sant'Angelo. There are so many beautiful things to see close to the hotel so the location is highly recommended. If you are not in a physical good shape you would need to have another type of commute, like a scooter or car. We walked. There are couple of nice restaurants up the hill. Also tried the restaurant at the hotel for the dinner. The swimming pool is awesome and you are able to hop in at whatever time you want during the day. Nice infinity views over the ocean.

Kind, welcoming and helpful host in Ernesto. Attentive and informative, making sure that you were enjoying your stay, being very patient with my terrible Italian, suggesting places to go and things to see and even taking time to explain the humble beginnings of the hotel and his family’s involvement. Getting to the hotel very straight forward, despite being opposite the main ‘hubs’ of the island, owing to the excellent public transport. Room very comfortable with all of the basic amenities, cleaned to a high standard every morning whilst you dine on the excellent breakfast in the beautiful gardens. My visit was the end of April/beginning of May, so for the majority of my stay it felt like I was the only guest! Maronti Beach on the south side of the island felt similarly deserted. This is no criticism, it was absolutely perfect for me but worth mentioning for other guests that may want more hustle and bustle or for other solo travellers who may feel uncomfortable. I won’t put it in the negatives because it’s absolutely understandable, but dinner wasn’t served for the duration of my stay (one week). A slight disappointment as I had heard very good things about the dinners but, as explained by Ernesto, servings don’t start until higher season when it can be justified. To clarify, the booking was for B & B, so I can’t complain. I will definitely return to experience the food. There are plenty of excellent food options a very short walk from the hotel, along the beach front, so nothing lost ultimately. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Perfect for my first visit to this amazing part of the Word, one I hope to return to.

It offers a wellness centre with free sauna, hot tub, 2 swimming pools, and a traditional restaurant. Wi-Fi is free in shared areas. Loved it! not fancy but so welcoming, very calm and relaxing with an amazing view and the best food we had in all of Ischia. Can't wait to go back

Rooms at the Villa Ireos have a fresh, clean style and are equipped with air conditioning and a TV. All have views of the gardens and the sea, and some have a private terrace or balcony. The breathtaking view from the hotel that I couldn't get enough of. Big and cozy hotel room, helpful and nice staff, good breakfast. I would love to have stayed there a few more days. If we come to Ischia again then for sure we're going to stay in this lovely villa❤️
