The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. I enjoyed a lovely 8 days in the Hotel Villa Maria. The location overlooking Sant'Angelo and the bay is glorious. Breakfast and dinner is taken on a gorgeous terrace...don't think I would tire of the view. The hotel is comfortable and decorated in traditional style. It is a family run hotel and the staff are charming and welcoming. Breakfasts are plentiful and dinner at the hotel is also good and generous - also good value for money. I would highly recommend Hotel Villa Maria.

With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The property has a seasonal outdoor pool, fitness centre, sauna and garden. Beautiful place and great location but the best thing was the staff. We felt like we were a part of there family, they were amazing, always going out of their way to help us.

Always wanted to stay within a castle / fortress and this met my expectations.......and even had an elevator which went a long way with dealing with the luggage. Quite possibly the most relaxing and best night sleep I've had while traveling as I could leave the window open all night with the moist sea breeze vs stuff AC air and with the castle so far away from the town - very little noise. And because it was a small boutique hotel - filled with a more mature crowd that respected everyone else with minimal noise, slamming of doors and the typical loud voices in the hall at night ....but not here which was amaing. Free pass to the island to see the castle along with the crypts and a beautiful art studio with some really special pieces to take home.

It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in public areas. Great value for money. Located on the west shore of Ischia in between Forio and Sant'Angelo. There are so many beautiful things to see close to the hotel so the location is highly recommended. If you are not in a physical good shape you would need to have another type of commute, like a scooter or car. We walked. There are couple of nice restaurants up the hill. Also tried the restaurant at the hotel for the dinner. The swimming pool is awesome and you are able to hop in at whatever time you want during the day. Nice infinity views over the ocean.

Kind, welcoming and helpful host in Ernesto. Attentive and informative, making sure that you were enjoying your stay, being very patient with my terrible Italian, suggesting places to go and things to see and even taking time to explain the humble beginnings of the hotel and his family’s involvement. Getting to the hotel very straight forward, despite being opposite the main ‘hubs’ of the island, owing to the excellent public transport. Room very comfortable with all of the basic amenities, cleaned to a high standard every morning whilst you dine on the excellent breakfast in the beautiful gardens. My visit was the end of April/beginning of May, so for the majority of my stay it felt like I was the only guest! Maronti Beach on the south side of the island felt similarly deserted. This is no criticism, it was absolutely perfect for me but worth mentioning for other guests that may want more hustle and bustle or for other solo travellers who may feel uncomfortable. I won’t put it in the negatives because it’s absolutely understandable, but dinner wasn’t served for the duration of my stay (one week). A slight disappointment as I had heard very good things about the dinners but, as explained by Ernesto, servings don’t start until higher season when it can be justified. To clarify, the booking was for B & B, so I can’t complain. I will definitely return to experience the food. There are plenty of excellent food options a very short walk from the hotel, along the beach front, so nothing lost ultimately. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Perfect for my first visit to this amazing part of the Word, one I hope to return to.

It offers a wellness centre with free sauna, hot tub, 2 swimming pools, and a traditional restaurant. Wi-Fi is free in shared areas. The food is amazing!! The staff is so accommodating and welcoming.

Rooms at the Villa Ireos have a fresh, clean style and are equipped with air conditioning and a TV. All have views of the gardens and the sea, and some have a private terrace or balcony. The breathtaking view from the hotel that I couldn't get enough of. Big and cozy hotel room, helpful and nice staff, good breakfast. I would love to have stayed there a few more days. If we come to Ischia again then for sure we're going to stay in this lovely villa❤️
