It was my second time here at Hotel Villa Dorata and I'm glad I was able to find Marco again: such a great host! I had dinner at the hotel as I was too tired to go somewhere else and the food was really good. If you're going to spend one or two nights on Mt Etna I highly recommend Hotel Villa Dorata!

The decoration of this house is impeccable! I loved how the hosts left us a little note with suggestions of where to go and visit. It felt very personal. In addition to that, the location is great. Super close to the historic city centre and there is a parking garage nearby too (parking on the streets is for residents only)

We were very happy to make this reservation for this Hotel. The owners (family) were wery kind, helpful and superfriendly. There were extra services like the parking was done by the owner of the hotel, we were able to go to the beach organised by the hotel with minibus (and the return ). Our room was very big and convinient, and clean. The íhotel has a swimming pool two, so we think it is minimum a 3 stars hotel! When we will go back to Taormina, we will chose this hotel again. We recommend it for everybody!
Perfect location, perfect view and perfect staff. Room was not big but enough for us. Breakfast and car parking included in daily rate and this were quite important in Taormina. 15 mins walk from hotel to Taormina city center which was a pleasant walk.

The location is really nice, right outside the city center. There is a grocery store across the street. And the foot path to Castelmola and the mountains behind it is really close. The room was very nice, especially the two balconies. There is a shared kitchen, well equipped, with a Nescafé coffee machine. When we needed something the owner helped us right away. Good price for value. We felt very comfortable, so thank you.
