Originally built in 1875, The Portree Hotel is situated on the corner of Portree's main street and overlooks Somerled Square, the town’s main square. The main bus stop and taxi ranks are on the doorstep, offering direct links to other parts of the island. The location was excellent, right at the center of Portree. The room was extremely cozy and had amazing views. We were surprised with how close we were from all the amenities of the town, from the supermarket, pharmacy, local pubs, restaurants, everything very very close by. From the hotel we were also able to very easily travel all around the Isle of Skye.

A beautiful little place, managed by lovely people. Bed is super comfy, location is absolutely top with an amazing view of the harbour. Cleanliness impeccable, good wifi, space well-organised. I had a great stay and only wish I could've prolonged my time in Portree.
