Some rooms have air conditioning. We got to the hotel late, but, you're in the mountains and from our room balcony you could see horses and mountains and there were some cute kittens playing outside. So nice to be in absolute peace and silence. At night you can see every star in the sky. The room is huge, compared to other hotel rooms in France. There is like a foyer area where you an put any gear and luggage you may have, then the actual bedroom is separated into it's own room. The balcony had a nice table and two chairs. They have a pizza restaurant on property, but we had pizza earlier in the day, so, thankfully, there is a tiny, little town center a 5min drive away. There was a Middle Eastern place open, so thankfully, they had falafels, since my husband and I don't eat meat and we did take away and we bought a bottle of wine at the pizza restaurant and enjoyed our food on the balcony. If you are visiting Gorges du Verdon, I would highly recommend this place. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but I wasn't sure if it was open or not.

The Lou Paradou hotel is located in Greoux-les-Bains, by the Verdon River, next to the lavender fields in the heart of the Provence. It is set within a large park and offers a heated, seasonal and heated outdoor pool. This is a very nice small hotel. The units we stayed in had small kitchenettes that were super useful, and nice sleeping quarters and bathrooms. They have a very nice pool that was fun to swim in and mostly empty when we were there, along with a very large garden/grounds that would be super nice for kids. Our rooms had nice balconies that were useful for dinner outside. Coffee in room was nice. Breakfast room has a nice view to the grounds. Parking was free and convenient. Center of the village is within easy walking distance with restaurants, shops etc. Staff did not speak a lot of english (some more than others) but everyone was super nice and helpful and we had no problem to manage. Overall a very nice location, we were sorry to not having stayed more.
