Very good location in the historic city center, close to restaurants, bakery, market. Nonetheless no parking problems. Clean, comfortable beds. Friedrichstadt is an ideal location for excursions in Western and Northern Schleswig-Holstein. Very good value for money.
Location about 7 mins walk to the station and 10 minutes to the city centre. North side of the hotel faces the canal and trees. South side faces the road.
Its not budget hotel at all. Th price was way more like a 3 star hotel in the same area.

A standard ibis Budget hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, but nothing special either. A good hotel to spend 1...2 nights. The location is very central.
Other people have said it in earlier reviews but this is a budget hotel and it’s a great little place. It’s clean, well-run, the location is good for main routes in/out of Hamburg - and there’s a decent Greek restaurant around the corner. The guy on front desk was super helpful, even reorganising our room when he saw that I am currently disabled.
